Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Today's Thankful Heart - Nov 5th

Today I'm thankful for, Praise God for, Rejoice because:

  • the Lord has given me a husband who is perfect for me and I'm perfect for him, even if we don't always recognize it.
  • for a day off work tomorrow to spend with my daughter (we are going on a tour of the State Capital)
  • for friends & family who I know love me for who I am and will stand by me through anything.
  • bubbly warm baths, a good cup of coffee (or cocoa) and a good book - my ideal way to relax and what I'm going to be doing here soon!
  • for wonderful godly women in my life who are willing to listen to me but are not willing to let me be a "victim", women who are not afraid to tell me like it is and speak God's love into my life.
  • Prop 8 passed in California - God is teaching me everyday just how sacred and special marriage is - it is a Gift that He gave to us, a special relationship between a man and a woman that is blessed by God and is a reflection of the sacred relationship He wants with us.
